Less than a year after Safeway officials told Hyattsville-area shoppers
that their deteriorating local store would be "Lifestyled," the *Hyattsville
Life & Times* is reporting that the store will become instead the latest in
the chain to be "Bestwayed" -- sold to a chain of Latino discount grocery

Hyattsville -- by sealing off the new County skate park just days after it
was completed, shooing away dismayed preschoolers in the process.  And how
the County public works department apparently violated its own regulations
by clear-cutting the shade trees along the Queens Chapel Town Center --
trees paid for by the City of Hyattsville and some of which were on the
City's right-of-way, allegedly because shopping-center management
complained their foliage was blocking views of commercial signs.
