Events for Weekend of June 1 - 3

Dear Maryland Milestone Friends!

While we love ALL of our communities and partners, this weekend is especially special for our communities in Brentwood and Greenbelt - both of which are having big celebrations commemorating their communities. (And actually, its a good week to have friends at NASA - don't miss the Transit of Venus.)

Also, if you haven't had a chance, be sure to check out the article in the Gazette (and Post Local) on Bostwick House & Gardens. Now, on to this week's programs and events:

Ongoing:

Ongoing exhibits are "A College Divided: Maryland Agricultural College and the Civil War" at the University of Maryland.  Next week starts a new exhibit at College Park Aviation Museum on "Al" Walsh - an early flyer at College Park Airport.  These are the last few days of "A Space of Their Own" at Gallery 110/African American Museum and Cultural Center in Brentwood - it closes on Saturday!
