[RP TownTalk] Anacostia Watershed Activities

Nancy,  I think the AWS is part of the community.  The river runs  right 
through our town and they are the ones who take care of the river and are  
spending money and time to clean it up.  I think the AWS
is a part of Riverdale Park.  A big part.  So, sorry you don't  like it. 
Sometimes there are things on the list I don't find particularly  interesting 
and I just hit the delete button.
I think AWS offers free boat trips down the river to the aquatic gardens on 
 Wednesday which would be a good outing for you and the kids?  Also they  
have free paddle night every Wednesday and certain Wednesdays right there at 
the  Bladensburg Waterfront Park. Another good free activity for the kids.

Why do we have Anacostia Watershed Activities 'filling up' our town  emails?


If we are interested in those activities, we can connect with them  
directly.


I think this should be for our town news, activities, etc.


Our email inboxes are all packed as it is - let each person connect with  
the organizations that are of interest to them and leave this for pertinent  
RIVERDALE PARK town news.
