[RP TownTalk] Predatory Towing Practices at YES

A warning to anyone parking at YES. 

Recently I ran into YES to pick up a few things for a Birthday party.  I parked and noticed the towing enforced signs at YES for 30 minute parking.  I was running late, so I managed to spend $100 bucks in less than 10 minutes.  My thought was to run (literally) to the nail place for a gift card then bolt to the party.  As I was putting my groceries in my car I noticed a guy writing down license plates...  I followed him back into YES and asked about the towing signs, and this is what I learned:

The tow truck driver hangs out inside YES.  He and the manger on duty confirmed that when you leave the store, if you don't get in your car and leave their parking area he will tow you.  It is filmed and sent electronically to the driver which happens to be chill'n next to the brussel spouts. I I asked the manager on duty and he said, it was "managements" policy and they were just doing their jobs.

I  will happily drive to MOMs, Giant and soon to Dumms Market to spend my precious dollars.
