Good comeback!  I agree with you in part, but I was thinking of some other things that could be the reason, and again, just my own opinion, but possibly someone is getting a few dollars to push this along?  But as Forrest Gump said, "that's all I'm going to say about that...."

My momma wasn't as clever as yours.  It is so much easier for the politicos to take money from casinos than to admit that they don't have the political will to raise individual taxes to pay for all the things needed from the state/County government PLUS all the other things promised.
