[RP TownTalk] War of 2012: Battle of Bladensburg

It's been called "the worst military defeat ever suffered by U.S. forces,"
but the 1814 Battle of Bladensburg might seem like a minor skirmish
compared to the Culture War raging at Bladensburg's Peace Cross memorial
this year.  An atheist group is threatening to sue the Maryland-National
Capital Park & Planning Commission to remove the familiar monument honoring
fallen soldiers in World War I, and local groups have mounted
counter-protests.
