The last Paddle Night of the year is this Wednesday! Join us on September 12 at 
Anacostia Community Boathouse in Southeast DC for free canoeing and kayaking and
 wrap up summer with a peaceful tour of the lower Anacostia River. Our boats will

Help Install a Rain Garden at UMD
AWS is seeking a small group of volunteers to assist in a rain garden installation
project at Woods Hall on the University of Maryland campus on Saturday, September
22 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Ideally, volunteers will have a background or previous experience gardening and 
planting. Work will involve heavy lifting and digging.
If you are interested in assisting us with this project, please contact our Membership
