[RP TownTalk] A New Year? (Do you need a calendar?)

Hello everyone!
 
Do you need a calendar for the new year?  Well we have one!  Our calendars are being distributed around towns at the Town Hall's of our partner towns.  We have already distributed Greenbelt, Hyattsville, University Park, Mount Rainier, Bladensburg, Colmar Manor and Edmonston.  We will be distributing boxes at Riverdale Park, North Brentwood, Brentwood, and Cottage City today.  We hope to get College Park, Bowie, and Cheverly boxes this week as well as a second box at Greenbelt Community Center. I am always replenishing at Hyattsville City Hall in the main hallway.  If you are dropping off those Christmas cards at the Post Office, come over for a second and grab one!
 
Next year, look for the big capstone program celebrating the War of 1812 and lots of new bike tourism projects.  If you haven't been to our website recently, you should definately look for our "Heritage Routes" page which has downloadable thematic tours of the region.  We will be getting these printed very soon and hope to get them out early next spring at specific locations to serve as visitor information kiosks.
