[RP TownTalk] PG County Board of Education

I'm pretty sure it comes from curriculum development work that
teachers are doing that the school wants to profit from. That said,
there have also been students who have written essays or created books
as part of classroom assignments that they gone on to publish (one
such story is at the end of the article Kate linked to in her first
message.)

Andy my husband rightly points out that the second half of the
paragraph I quoted below says "works created during school/work hours,
with the use of school system materials, and within the scope of a ...
 student’s classroom work assignment(s) are the properties of the
Board of Education."

*That* is ridiculous.
