The Riverdale Park Arts Council educates and works for the understanding and appreciation of the arts for the Riverdale Park community and its residents.
RPAC Presents…
2013 Summer Concerts at Town Center Market
RIVERDALE PARK, MD. July 18, 2013– Violinist Jordan and pianist Nee Vong Ng perform classic works for violin by Massenet, Mendelsohn and others this evening at 7, kicking off the inaugural summer season of performances at Town Center Market in downtown Riverdale Park.
The free, one-hour concerts will feature emerging artists performing a variety of musical genres and will be held each Thursday at 7 pm following the Riverdale Park Farmers Market.

“This concert series gives University of Maryland School of Music students the experience of performing live in an outdoor venue,” said Robert DiLutis, professor of clarinet and Music Department Chairman. DiLutis, who is also a resident of Riverdale Park, adds “at the same time, the community enjoys talented and up-and-coming young artists in a wonderful and relaxed environment.” 

Town Center Market will offer craft beer and fine wine tastings during the concert series. Concert-goers are encouraged to purchase dinners at the Farmers Market or order from the Dumm’s Pizza & Subs menu. Beer and wine will be available. 
Individual and corporate sponsors are being sought by RPAC for the patio concert series which runs through mid-September. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside Town Center Market at 4705 Queensbury Rd., Riverdale Park.

* Aug. 29 – Cellist Carol Anne Bosco 
* Sept. 5 - Edward Jakuboski’s Classical Brass Trio
* Sept. 12 – Singer/keyboardist Alexandra August

2013 Summer Concerts at Town Center Market is a presentation of the Riverdale Park Arts Council, University of Maryland Clarinet Professor/Music Dept.
