I'm the same way so I would not "have at you."  However, whenever I make a comment along these lines, I receive a pile of emails addressed only to me stating " if you want nature, move to the country." I've lived around here since Riverdale Plaza was a farm, so I know there does have to be change, but it's heartbreaking to see our lovely town and its unique character slowly being nibbled away.
