[RP TownTalk] Election notice sgns

Just wondering about the election notice signs posted around town; who decided that putting them 7 feet above the ground was a good idea?  Maybe some of the signs ARE torn down during election season and that's why they were posted so high, but I'm not 6 ft. tall and all I can tell from the signs is that there's an election in May.  The rest of the sign at that height is completely unreadable.
