At least twice as many, apparently, as the City of Hyattsville originally
figured. Less than a month after launching its speed-monitoring program,
the Hyattsville City Council approved a plan to install as many as 10
cameras in the small municipality -- five more than in the original plan.
 See all the camera placements in the *Hyattsville Life & Times'* current

Also in the March issue: How a local restaurant applied to the state liquor
board for a permit that would allow dancing, live music, and more, seven
nights a week -- and the municipal authorities weren't even notified. And:
young local filmmaker's Web series debuts at a Silver Spring cinema;
hometown band's debut recording; Hyattsville's historic-landmark post
office; whether to weed -- or eat -- invasive plants; and more.
