[RP TownTalk] trash on west side of the river 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile south of Riverdale Road

The 'campgrounds' on west side of river are loaded with trash. Would
anyone be available this week to gather some of it up? I will go any day
that anyone is up for it. Sort of frightened to go over alone as there are
gangs of men drinking and whatevering over there most days. I expect now
that it is cold it may be safer as fewer will (I hope) be there. It is a
popular drinking site. You need to wear boots or really solid shoes as the
ground is not even and the brush is thick and there are stickers.

awesome. Thanks Bruce,
This might be a good time to mention that the ball/bird catching net at the
Field of Dreams has been partially up for weeks now without being put down.
You may all recall that the very reason the net is designed to raise up and
down when not in use is because it ensnared and strangled to death a
beautiful subadult red tailed hawk.
I hope the town will consider removing that net permanently to prevent any
further violation of the Federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act. I would hate to
see any more raptors killed now that they are returning to the area.
