Free event in the University of Maryland Physics Department Lecture Hall!
October 18th and 19th from 7:30 to 8:30 PM the Physics Demonstration  
Department at the University of Maryland is presenting:
Physics is Phun!
The first in of the 2013-2014 series is about Waves. The Physics  
Lecture Demonstration Department along with numerous invaluable  
volunteers will present both interactive and faculty-led  
demonstrations of the different forms of the wave phenomena.
30 minutes before the presentations, student volunteers will be  
exhibiting a few demonstrations the public can observe at close  
proximity.
On Saturday the 19th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM there will be a special  
Family Oriented Matinee with a short lecture and hands on activities  
for children! Fun for the whole family!
