> Greetings All- through the Maryland EARN program (Employment Advancement Right Now), the Community Services Agency in partnership with the Finishing Trades Institute of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, located in Lanham, and several of their signatory contractors, are able to offer craft-specific pre-apprenticeship training to Maryland residents.  The first class focusing on industrial painting will begin in October and we are looking for your help to get the word out and help us recruit.

> We are looking for low-income individuals, MEN AND WOMEN, but they must have high school diplomas or GED’s, valid driver’s licenses or learner’s permits, be at least 18, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, want to do construction work.  THIS IS A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CONSTRUCTION ONLY, and we are obligated to ensure job placement in construction.
