MRSPA has requested we share the following with our members...

The Maryland Caregivers Support Coordinating Council (MCSCC) is seeking
family
caregivers to complete an anonymous online survey. This is your opportunity
for your
voice to be heard. The results of this survey will be used by the MCSCC to
support State
offices, agencies, community groups, our Governor, the Maryland General
Assembly, and
family caregivers like you. To be effective, we need your advice on the
needs of family
caregivers and the best ways to meet those needs. So, we welcome your
voluntary
participation and feedback through the attached survey.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes or less, and will ask
questions about
the care you provide to your loved one, how caregiving has impacted your
life, and your
needs as a family caregiver.

Are you a family caregiver? A family caregiver is someone who helps an
adult or a child
with a disability with personal care, household chores, money management,
arranging
for outside service arrangements, or visiting regularly to see how they are
doing.
Should you complete this survey? The person receiving care may live in
Maryland or
outside of Maryland. Anyone who is a family caregiver and is 18 years or
older is eligible
to participate in this survey. Please feel free to forward this invitation
to your family,
friends, and colleagues. We realize your time is valuable, and appreciate
your
consideration.

If you provided this type of unpaid help to a relative or friend within the
past 12 months,
please complete the survey. Thank you!
