The entire legislation was read at a televised meeting a month ago and discussed at length a week ago. 

If there was a code discrepancy regarding the front of a refuse enclosure having a prohibited material we might have to address it in a similar way to harmonize materials allowed on the sides and front.  This situation does not exist so the analogy or the reference is a straw man argument. 

I've stated and provided examples of land parcels that define why consistency is needed.  We routinely have to spend thousands of dollars every year on legal advice for situations like this that many of us would prefer to spend on constituents or provide opportunities to hold taxes constant. 

Legislation I sponsored 14 months ago is finally being put into place that will go a long way towards electronic dissemination of the public record. Regardless of being in compliance with state and local laws we, of course, continue to strive to provide the best constituent service and implement best practices whenever deficiencies are identified.  

Please do come out on Monday and comment on the legislation. I always welcome different points of view.
