Bursting in Air Public Art Happening

On July 26th from 3pm to 8pm, you're invited to become a part of a festive,
one-of-a-kind event where artists will transform the Hyattsville Route 1
Overpass into a captivating landmark through public art and festivities
that commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the end of the War of 1812.
Join us for live music and performances, live public art on the bridge
itself, food, drinks, kids activities, and two artist-instructed
Citizen-Paint-Project murals. *Free and open to all ages, festivities will
begin at 3pm with performances starting at 5pm, running until “the
twilight’s last gleaming” at 8pm.* A list of vendors, performers, and
downtown shops are online at http://hycdc.org/bursting – “Ready the
cannons!”

Te invitamos a la fiesta de arte público *¡Estallando en el aire! *
Vecinos, imaginémonos a la infraestructura de la Ruta 1 como un lienzo
para la creatividad en una celebración con música, comida, cerveza y arte
público.
El 26 de julio de 3pm a 8pm, estás invitado a ser parte de un evento único
donde artistas transformarán el paso elevado de la Ruta 1 de Hyattsville en
un cautivante y emblemático punto de referencia local por medio de arte
público y festividades que conmemoran los 200 años del fin de la guerra de
1812.
Disfruta con nosotros de música y otras presentaciones, arte público en
vivo en el puente, comidas y bebidas, actividades para niños, y dos
proyectos comunitarios de pintura de murales dirigidos por artistas. El
evento es gratis y para todas las edades. Las festividades comienzan a las
3pm, las presentaciones comienzan a las 5pm y el evento dura hasta las 8pm.
La lista de proveedores, artistas y negocios que participarán, será
