CONSTRUCTION UPDATE NOTICE 

Weeks of: May 5, 2014 and May 12, 2014 

 

What to Expect On-Site the Next Two Weeks: 

During the next two weeks of construction, the General Contractor, L.F.
Jennings, will continue clearing the site, continue removal and haul-off of
excess soil and trees, and continue rough grading operations on the west
side of the site, utilizing both material haul-off as well as on-site cut to
fill. 

These activities will require heavy equipment accessing the site. Two of the
construction entrances are located along Route 1 located near both ends of
the project site and one entrance at Maryland Avenue. 

Drilling rigs will also bore small holes in the ground to obtain
geotechnical data needed for the design of the drainage culvert under the
CSX railroad tracks. 

 

Lane Closures: 

There are no anticipated lane closures associated with this work. 

 

Construction Hours: 

Construction activity will be taking place Monday - Saturday between the
hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
