[RP TownTalk] Meeting Regarding Restructuring of William Wirt Middle School

All interested persons are invited to attend a meeting regarding the
recently announced restructuring of William Wirt Middle School through a
state School Improvement Grant. Parents, community members and officials
will meet to learn about and look for ways to participate in the upcoming
changes in the school. Topics will include:

 

1. What is a School Improvement Grant?

2. How can parents and the broad community participate in and help the
school succeed?

3. What is the timeline for these changes?

 

School Board representative Peggy Higgins, Delegate Alonzo Washington, and
other interested elected officials will be there to listen and share their
thoughts and knowledge about this process.

 

The meeting is being held at Riverdale Park Town Hall, 5008 Queensbury Road,
Riverdale Park, MD  20737 on Thursday May 8 beginning at 7 PM.
