> Next weekend, which long range forecasts say looks amazing, will be a great weekend of bikes in the Heritage Area.

> On Saturday, May 31 at 10am at 5240 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park (across from Wells/Linson Pool) we will depart on a ride through the Tributary Trail System. We will stop at ECO Cities Farm to hear about green infrastructure and bicycling. Community Forklift will also join us. Plus we will get a tour of the farm. We will then return for a lunch and each rider will get a take away (tshirt, pin, or water bottle). Registration is available via marylandmilestones.org or arrive early. Cost is $15 for a single rider, discounts for multiple riders. Great for families as the ride will be paced and level. About a 15 mile round trip. Proteus Bikes will lead the ride and provide support.

> Secondly, on Sunday Greenbelt Museum’s Roosevelt Ride returns on at 11:00am on the front lawn of the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, Maryland. The bicycle ride is FREE! Consider donning vintage clothes and bringing a vintage bike (vintage optional). Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy afterwards – or pick up something from the Greenbelt Farmer’s Market. Proteus Bicycles will be there to help with simple bike repairs and will provide some snacks. The route will be around Old Greenbelt, which is very bike comfortable.
