Hi All,

Just before Christmas, I requested recommendations for plumbers on this
list. I got many great recommendations, and I've been meaning to post the
list since then.

We went with Joe Kelly, and he's been really wonderful. (We are still
dealing with the fact that we've had to mail order the parts for our wacky
tankless hot water heater (a 14-year old Bosch Aquastar), and that we were
out of town for the last week, so we are still without hot water, but none
of that is Joe's fault. I blame Bosch.)

Joe has been flexible, timely, and proactive about fixing our hot water
system. I plan to use him for future repairs. He's been just great!

That said, here's the list:

Joe Kelly - 240-441-8348, mrjoekelly at operamail.com

Rick "Plumley the Plumber" (has worked on tankless water heaters)
(C) 202-439-3355
(W) 443-292-4265
plumley_r1966 at comcast.net
plumleytheplumber at gmail.com

Deans Right Time Plumbing. 410-499-6560

Gray Plumbing at 301-277-5900

Mario Villareal - 301-257-1875. He may not pick up and his voice-mail is
always full, but he normally will call you back from caller ID in fairly
short order. (English is not his first language, but he seems to be able to
muddle through those highly technical phone conversations. Also, he has a
full-time plumbing day job, so he only does house calls in the evening,
sometimes fairly late in the evening, and he doesn't always come the first
time he's scheduled, because he often ends up working late at his main job.)

Fred Werth of Kensington Plumbing and Heating
<http://www.kensingtonplumbingandheating.com/> lives in University Park and
does a good job.

Mike Jackson who lives in University Park. He is very reasonably priced
and a great guy. 301-343-5390.

Robert Springer of Springer Plumbing 301-442-8238

Howard Heating - http://www.lennoxdealer.com/howardheat/ (for HVAC work)
