SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE NOTICE

January 2, 2015

 

STORM WATER PIPE ALTERNATE ROUTE APPROVED

 

New Route Will Not Enter the Town Of University Park

 

Since the October 20, 2014 Town of University Park Council meeting, the

Riverdale Park Station development team has been working in coordination
with

the County Executive's office and the US Army to identify and secure the

necessary approvals for an alternate route for the site's storm water
outfall pipe

to Wells Run that does not enter the Town of University Park.

 

The approved alternate pathway for the storm water outfall piping will cross
the

Army Reserve property and connect to Wells Run downstream of the US Route 1

box culvert.

 

Construction is anticipated to commence on January 5, 2015.
