THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY ZONING REWRITE 

JANUARY 27TH COMMUNITY MEETING CANCELED

-- Meeting rescheduled to February 10, 2015

 

Upper Marlboro, MD- The Prince George's County Planning Department of The
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) has
canceled its community meeting scheduled TODAY, Tuesday, January 27th.  The
meeting has been rescheduled to February 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Administration Building located at 6600
Kenilworth Avenue. 

 

All other community meetings will continue as scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

The Prince George's Zoning Rewrite will update the Zoning Ordinance and
Subdivision Regulations to make development rules easier to understand, more
user-friendly, and supportive of the type of quality development that
encourages economic growth for the county. Stakeholders are invited to the
upcoming community meetings to hear and provide feedback on the evaluation
and recommendations report presented by nationally renowned consultant team
led by Clarion Associates. The evaluation and recommendations report will
provide Clarion's analysis for how the county's Zoning Ordinance and
Subdivision Regulations should be restructured.
