Assaults in Hyattsville and Riverdale Park

Please read the below three (3) incidents that have occurred over the last two weeks in and around Hyattsville City.

Incident #1 Hyattsville City Police 15-1398
5/26/2015 4:10pm Tuesday 5600 block 45th Avenue
A female victim was pushing her child in a stroller along the 5600 block of 45th Avenue. The male suspect drove past her in a light blue or metallic blue sedan. A short time later he walked up behind her, walked past her and was acting as if he was looking for his wallet or cell phone. He then grabbed her buttocks as she walked past him. The suspect ran away.

Incident #2 Riverdale Park Police
6/4/2015 3:00pm Thursday Hiker/Biker Trail between Madison Street and Queensbury Road

A female victim was walking with her child in a carrier along the Hiker/Biker Trail between Madison Street and Queensbury Road. The suspect approached the victim from behind and then walked past her. He was acting as if he was looking for his wallet or cell phone. As the victim walked past the suspect, he grabbed her buttocks. The suspect ran away.

Incident #3 Riverdale Park Police
6/8/15 7:00pm Monday Hiker Biker Trail between Madison Street and Queensbury Road

A female victim was out jogging along the Hiker Biker Trail between Madison Street and Queensbury Road. As the victim was approaching Queensbury Road she noticed the suspect walking towards her; he was wearing a ski mask. As they got close to each other, the suspect reached out towards her and attempted to touch her. The victim pushed him away and ran towards Queensbury Road. The suspect ran towards Oliver Street.

Suspect Description:

Black Male / 20-25 years old / 5'10-6'1 / 130-145 lbs / Short hair / medium brown complexion / light facial hair.

The suspect wore a yellow construction safety vest in two incidents ( He may have had the initials CR and a red 'block type' logo on the back of the vest)

On June 8th, 2015, the suspect wore a Gray Washington Nationals tee shirt with "Strasburg 37" on the back.
