Prince George's County Announces Offices Closures for Veterans Day Holiday

County government offices, with the exception of public safety agencies,
will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in observance of Veterans Day


 

LARGO, MD - Prince George's County government offices will be closed on
Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in observance of Veterans Day, with the
exception of the facilities and operations noted below: 


Animal Services Facility
(3750 Brown Station Road)

Closed


Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill

Open


Brown Station Road Public
Convenience Center

Open


Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site
(Located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill)

Closed


Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George's County
Department of Public Works and Transportation, will operate a normal route
service on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 except for Route 51 which serves
County government buildings. Normal service on Route 51 will resume on
Thursday, November 12, 2015. The County's Call-A-Bus service will not
operate on November 11, 2015.  Normal operations will resume on Thursday,
November 12, 2015. 

 

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will also be
closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Normal business hours will resume on
Thursday, November 12, 2015.

 

In addition, Prince George's CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Wednesday,
November 11, 2015 and will return to normal operations on Thursday, November
12, 2015.  However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online
at www.countyclick311.com/
