Hello, hello!

I hope you have all been enjoying the week and are looking forward to a bright 2017. If you have out of town guests looking for some fun, wily kids who have consumed their yearly allotment of cookies & sugar, or if you're looking for a reason to get out of the house and extend the holiday spirit, join us tonight for Riversdale by Candlelight! From 6 - 9 pm, the house will be filled with festivity. You'll be greeted by costumed interpreters spanning three eras of Riversdale's history and friendly docents as you walk through the candlelit home. Children can make period-inspired ornaments and all are welcome to chat and enjoy over period refreshments as live music wafts through the halls. Don't forget to step into the toasty warm dependency kitchen and take a peek at goodies being baked over the fire. Attendees will also receive a special discount in the museum shop (discount good for tonight only!), so feel free to splurge on yourself a little!

The cost is $5 at the door for adults and FREE for kids 12 & under accompanied by an adult. Refreshments & children's activities are available while supplies last. Doors open at 6 pm and we hope to see you there!
