[RP TownTalk] Advice on 'cursed' dryer donation

Dear FriendsA while back I bought a second hand dryer that appears to run perfectly well, but has a problem with the drum where it puts significant holes in your clothing (ask me how I found this out!).  I tried simple repairs myself but it didn't fix it.It is sitting in my garage and I am trying to find the most sensible next step for it.I'm reluctant to simply give it away on Craigslist for fear this 'cursed dryer'  will somehow be put back in circulation as a 'working dryer' and create havoc for  someone else.
Anyone have ideas? Someone who will take appliances for parts? Recycle options (less preferable)?Thanks Kathy
