Eligibility Guide to Immunizations for Your Child:

The Prince George’s County Health Department offers immunizations for
children ages 2 months to 18 years old. Your child’s insurance status
determines if they are eligible to participate in the Vaccines for Children
program.

Does Your Child Have Health Insurance?

Yes, Full Coverage
    If your child’s health insurance covers vaccinations, call your primary
care provider or your insurance company to schedule an appointment for your
child’s immunizations.

Yes, Medicaid
    If your child has Medicaid insurance, call the Health Department at
(301) 583-3300 to make an appointment for your child’s immunizations.
    If your child is an American Indian or Alaska Native, they are eligible
for the Vaccines for Children program. Call (301) 583-3300 for an
appointment.

Yes, But it Doesn’t Cover Immunizations
    If your child’s health insurance does not cover immunizations for your
child OR If your child’s insurance covers immunizations but has a fixed
dollar amount or cap for immunizations, call one of the clinics below once
that fixed dollar amount is reached.

    The following clinics can provide immunizations for your child:

     Mary’s Center http://www.maryscenter.org/locations-and-hours

    If your child does not have health insurance, call the Health
Department to make an appointment for your child’s immunizations. Call
(301) 583-3300 for an appointment

No, Your Child is a Refugee
    If your child is a refugee or asylee: Call the Refugee Health Program
at 301-583-3110

Back to School IMMUNIZATIONS for your kids are available from the Prince
George’s County Health Department.

Step 1: Make an Appointment at a Clinic Below

 To make an appointment, please call (301) 583-3300.
 The clinics are held in Cheverly and Clinton Maryland.

Step 2: Bring These Items

 You MUST bring a copy of your child’s immunization (shot) record.
 If you do not have insurance, you must bring proof of your family’s
household income.
 You must bring proof of your residency for Prince George’s County (e.g. a
drivers license or current bill).

You Should KNOW

 Upon request, your updated immunization record can be picked up 24 hours
after your visit.
 If severe weather conditions exist, please call ahead to confirm if the
clinic is open.
