Sherene,

I think those homes -- another on the corner of Mustang Drive got flattened
this morning -- are making way for the light rail, not the wall. My
understanding is the wall is down on Kenilworth Avenue at 410, not upstream
next to the B&W parkway. The good news, and it is GOOD NEWS, is that
progress is being made and that the line is coming.

But it is time to follow Councilman Lingua's suggestion and  really put the
pressure on to change the support structure's design so it is not a wall.
Would be much better for all of us if it is designed like the monorail in
Las Vegas -- elevated, space-age (think The Jetsons) and foot and motor
traffic flow naturally below.
