[RP TownTalk] Field of Dreams

That just breaks my heart; over the many years I've lived in the area, I've gone through that patch of trees and picked wild blackberries, gotten sassafras leaves to dry for file' gumbo, look at the wildflowers, and enjoyed the animals that I'd meet on my way. Oh well, who needs trees, anyhow; all they do is produce oxygen, provide shelter for birds that eat insects, prevent erosion, and so on.  Not like they're important or anything.....  Might as well change the name back to Riverdale, in the very near future it's likely there won't be any "Park" left.

That was also a favorite spot for the deer that used to live on the Cafritz property.  I would frequently see them in the early morning or evenings in the grassy area in front of the now demolished ERCO building.  The deer and other wildlife are gone now since they no longer have a place to live.
