Trump's own words and actions proved him a misogynist, racist, anti-media, anti-disabled demagogue.  These are NOT MY VALUES.  This media bashing reminds me of Spiro Agnew--another despicable person who won major office, then went down in flames.

These ads are funded by a planned parenthood affiliate in Boston, Denver, Columbus, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh among others.  How do you know that they aren't responsible for some of the racisted bigoted rhetoric, signs, etc.  After all, they are being paid to stop Trump.  Do you consider them Trump supporters?
  The media bashed Trump nonstop and called him every name (racist, homophobe, Nazi, etc.) in the book while white washing all of Hillary's transgressions yet he still won.  The People have spoken.  I'm sick and tired of people parroting the media and bashing Trump and his supporters as if we are second class citizens.  Who do you think you are that you have the right to marginalize people so conveniently.  Apparently that's OK for you (vice Trump supporters) and not bigoted? 

Trump has no more to do with these incidents than Hillary so can we dispense with the media BS.  I've had enough.

Either way, the racist and bigoted rhetoric coming from some (not all) Trump supporters should be enough for us to at least come together to tell our community that we will not tolerate it, that we will stand up against all forms of hate and bigotry and will do all we can to protect our more vulnerable members of our community.  On a personal note - my son and many of his friends have expressed fear and concern and for 8 year old children to fear for their safety and that of their loved ones is unacceptable.

In the wake of this election, many of our friends and neighbors are fearful and vulnerable right now. Help share the message with our immigrant, refugee, people of color, women, LGBT, Jewish, Muslim, and disabled friends and neighbors that we have their back.

Together we declare that acts of hate will not happen on our watch.

We REFUSE to be silent in the face of bullying and hate.

We PLEDGE to intervene if we see someone being harassed.
