We had problems with this when we first moved in. We did all sorts of crazy
things, including creating a habanero paste that we smeared inside the hole
where they kept coming in. :-)  After they were out, I am not kidding, we
installed stainless steel flashing so they'd stop chewing through the
flashing to get in under our eaves.

I've learned a lot since then. Here are some more humane and effective ways
to get these critters out of your house.
