[RP TownTalk] Animal Trapper

I have had squirrels in the attic several times and caught one in my bedroom once. I cut the branches back that are close to the house to solve the problem. I've got Wayne lined up to do just that today.

Worked for me.

Like my mother said to me when I was a wee lad, "I told you a million times not to exaggerate!"

Okay, maybe it was just five million squirrels but they were just nuts about the place. Five million squirrels in The Pink House, years, YEARS! before Town Center Market began offering spirits.Boy, would those little buggers be happy now!

At least 7 million squirrels invaded The Pink House one fall. This company (information below) got them out of the house, into the sunshine and then into FEMA trailers on Eastern Shore.

I've also used Humane Wildlife Services, and was thrilled with their expertise and service. For me, it was also a bonus that I was supporting the Humane Society at the same time!

They made a number of adjustments to my home where critters were getting in, and I have not had an uninvited visitor since. Highly recommend!

We had problems with this when we first moved in. We did all sorts of crazy things, including creating a habanero paste that we smeared inside the hole where they kept coming in. :-) After they were out, I am not kidding, we installed stainless steel flashing so they'd stop chewing through the flashing to get in under our eaves.

I've learned a lot since then. Here are some more humane and effective ways to get these critters out of your house.
