Hello!

I hope you're all enjoying lovely holidays with family, good friends, and lots of festivity! Riversdale invites you to pay a call this evening and join us at the annual Calverts by Candlelight from 6-9 pm. Step in out of the cold and enjoy visiting in the cozy candlelight. Chat with costumed interpreters as your stroll through the house, nibble on period refreshments like Martha Washington's Great Cake and hot cider, and warm up with baking demos over the open hearth fire. Throughout the evening, singers from Elizabeth Seton High School's choir will provide musical entertainment and children can participate in period pastimes while supplies last. Cap off the evening perusing the museum shop for some holiday steals and deals. No reservations are necessary - just pop on by after work or with those out-of-town visitors. $5 adults; FREE ages 12 & under accompanied by an adult.
