Hello Riverdale Park neighbors

Not On Our Watch is mobilizing the communities along Route 1 in PG County (Hyattsville, Riverdale, Mt. Rainier, University Park, College Park, etc) to participate together in the Women's March on January 21, 2017. March with your friends and neighbors as a unified community in support of women and to protect women's rights.

Join us at one of the following meeting spots the morning of Saturday, January 21, 2017:

8:00-8:30 am - meet in the lobby of the First United Methodist Church on Belcrest Road, across the street from the PG Plaza Metro Station. Parking is free. At 8:30 we will walk to the metro station together and ride the green line downtown to the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station.

9:45 am - meet at the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial, at 2nd Street and Washington Avenue, SW. It is a triangle park about five blocks from the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station, just south of Independence Avenue. Use the 7th and D Street exit from L'Enfant station and go east on D, then left on 2nd. It is also two blocks from the Federal Center SW station on the Blue/Orange line.

We will gather at the memorial before heading to the start of the March at the intersection of Independence Ave and Third Street, SW, near the U.S. Capitol.

Please wear a red bandana or red fabric tied around your arm to indicate you are with the Not On Our Watch group or a resident of one of the Route 1 communities who are gathering together.

Don't forget to bring food and water and check the weather forecast so you can dress accordingly.

Let's stand together in solidarity for our wives, partners, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, friends, and for ourselves.
