Please support Riverdale Elementary by voting for them in this contest via WTOP. It will help provide some much-needed funds for programs that directly support our students.

If we receive enough votes we could be in line to win $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000, running on the platform to fund the First Tee Golf Program, as well as recess equipment or other items for programs - hopefully.  The three schools that win are based simply on the number of votes received during the voting period.  Voting begins at midnight Monday March 6 and continues through 5 pm Friday March 17.  Voting takes place here http://wtop.com/contests/2017- click-for-kids-voting/  People can vote ONCE per day but can only vote from one email address so literally once per person in a 24 hour period.  If anyone creates multiple email addresses to vote, those will be disqualified and the school is at risk of being disqualified.  Anyone can vote who is over the age of 13. (those are legal rules)  So we encourage you to promote this to parents, friends, family, the community.   Schools last year utilized their websites, social media, (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), YouTube,  robocalls, memos, etc.    You can use #Click4Kids and #WTOP  in your social communication – that way we can track and try to assist with shares etc. Be creative- the more you promote, the greater your chances of winning and there’s the added bonus of marketing your school and its needs.   I’ve attached a couple graphics that can be used to assist in your promotion. Remember voting starts Monday March 6th and goes through 5 pm Friday March 17.  One vote per person per day.  Winners will be announced Monday March 20.
