[RP TownTalk] RPAC's ArtsFest postponed to this Sunday

*ArtsFest 2017* has been postponed to *Sunday, May 7.*

The Riverdale Park Arts Council made the decision based on Saturday's rain
forecast.

The time is still 11 am to 5 pm in the Town Center parking lot next to the
Train Station.

Bring the entire family for the fun, food and festivities. Get a free
ArtsFest T-shirt when you make a purchase from a participating vendor
(while supplies last).

There will be artists, artisans, blues and rock musicians, authors, poets,
craft dealers, folk performers, silent auction, model train exhibit and
much more. Original artwork includes oil paintings, sculpture, handmade
jewelry, stained glass, and more. The Riverdale Volunteer Firefighters will
host a BBQ.

The stage lineup features the Smokin' Polecats, cellist Peter Swanson with
the Prince George's Philharmonic, dancing by Fudacion Elena Ballet
Folkorico Mexicano, poetry readings and more! The Children's Pavilion
offers free face painting and DIY potted plants just in time for Mother's
Day.
