Bill Baker, Jerry Bresee & Annette WasilikJoin us for some of the best
musicianship you'll hear all month. Bill Baker's voice and guitar work are
sweet and smooth. His impeccably crafted songs roll through you like fine
wine. Jerry Bresee is a beloved long-time session player, jazz musician and
singer-songwriter. Traveling from deep in VA, this is a rare chance to hear
this master musician in person. As always, Annette hosts and brings you her
award winning material to every Riverdale Rail Concert. Wine, brownies,
books and song. $10-$15 Suggested donation.

*Friday 10/6 8 PM *
First Friday's with Potomac Winds

The Potomac Winds collective is a Washington D.C. Metro Area-based ensemble
comprised of graduate students and alumni from the University Of Maryland
School of Music. The mission of Potomac Winds is to establish the woodwind
quintet as a virtuosic ensemble through engaging performances of the
highest level of artistic expression, cultivating a sense of community with
audience members, and collaboratively exploring works of all time periods
and genres with particular emphasis on the art of contemporary composers.
Members include Ceylon Mitchell, flute, Sarah Balzer, oboe, Melissa
Morales, clarinet, Dr. Avery Pettigrew, french horn, and Jonathan Zepp,
bassoon.

$10 cover.

If you cannot attend any events or shop at the store this weekend and would
still like a bookstore in the neighborhood please consider contributing to
our Gofundme page. We are struggling, we had to borrow for payroll this
month. It seems each September colleges seem to be assigning less and less
books.
