Showing Up for Racial Justice Green Line will be hosting a workshop on
Creating Anti-Racist spaces at the Prince George's African American Museum
and Cultural Center on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 11- 2pm.

This interactive workshop will explore the ways that inequity resides in
professional environments through seemingly race-neutral policies and
practices. Participants will discuss promising practices for designing and
implementing anti-racist spaces, transformative diversity, and equitable
and inclusive professional environments. Participants will discuss how to
have productive conversations about current events, such as police
brutality and Black Lives Matter. Additionally, participants will learn
about ways to use PGAAMCC as a resource to further develop these concepts
into pedagogy.

Tickets for this event are $20. Seating is limited, so please purchase your
ticket early. All proceeds will benefit PGAAMCC Education programs. Light
refreshments will be provided.

Please email greenlinesurj at gmail.com if you are unable to afford a ticket,
have questions about accommodations, or have any severe food allergies.
