[RP TownTalk] New Youth Classes in Mt. Rainier, MD! Baby Yoga, Hip Hop and more!

Joe's is thrilled to announce our 2018 line-up of youth classes including two new Saturday classes for ages 3 - 5 and 6 - 9! Check out our diverse offerings that will have you and your little one moving and grooving into the new year!
FULL SCHEDULE OF YOUTH CLASSES
Please note classes marked with an * do not begin until January 13th. All other classes begin January 8, 2018.

MONDAYS: Movement Playdate at 10:30 am

Explore physical expression in an open dance studio with guided activities and exciting props to create a world of sensory exploration for toddlers and their accompanying adults. 

TUESDAYS: Toddler Yoga at 10 am

Each class includes circle time, songs, modified yoga poses for adults and their little ones, and time for relaxation. Classes include gross motor and creative movement games and activities (often with props), storytime, and--of course—bubbles. 

 TUESDAYS: Baby Yoga at 11 am

This mindful movement practice is appropriate for little ones ages 6 weeks-not-quite-crawling with their primary caregivers. Caregivers learn how to gently move their babies into postures to promote digestion, sleep, and an awareness of their wee bodies.

WEDNESDAYS: Creative Movers at 10:30 am

Active children will love to move in a class that integrates creative play, storytelling, dance basics, and music. The 60 minute class features activities to increase movement vocabulary, stamina and coordination along with listening, practicing patience, and responding to ideas with movement or rhythm.

SATURDAYS: Leap, Jump & Jam (ages 3 - 5) at 11:15 am *

A creative movement class for new dancers ages 3-5. Dancers will be introduced to the fundamentals of dance through fun movement games and exercises.

SATURDAYS: Move & Groove (ages 6 - 9) at 12 noon *

A jazz and hip hop movement class for dancers ages 6 - 9. Dancers will be introduced to the basis of hip hop and jazz through fun and challenging exercises.

NEW IN 2018: All above classes are $10 to drop in OR purchase a youth 10-class pass for only $8 and try all classes for only $8 per class. Youth 10-class pass works for all the classes listed above.

Please note all classes require caregiver to stay in the room for the duration of the class.
