I agree. The weeds in the medians on East West Highway and on Kenilworth
look terrible. The entity that is in charge of the weeds is (as I
understand it) the State Highways Administration, not even the county. You
can file a request for service here:

I'm pretty sure the Town has already done this, but it can't hurt for a
bunch of residents to do it too!

Years ago, our town planted trees in the median and while the trees were
maturing the town took over mowing the grass. That was the only time in
(my) memory that our medians were well-maintained.

I wonder how much it would cost the town to take over this public service?

(Re: the trees in Wells Run, I know the Town has been working with the Army
Corps of Engineers on this issue. Not sure of the status, so I'm copying
some town officials to see if they can provide an update.)
