Join alight dance theater and help inform their new work, Faerie.

FREE: Tuesday, May 8th at 6 pm | Ages 6 & up

This workshop, open to all, will feature mirroring exercises, self-identification activities, character development tools, and creative movement. The workshop will inform the final work, FAERIE, which will be presented on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 7 pm. Please see below for more details.
The Tuesday workshop is accessible to all but created for parents and their children (ages 6 & up) and will run approximately one hour.

Faerie is an evening-length work fusing movement, spoken word, and unique production design exploring mythology, stereotypes, and the issues surrounding female identity in folklore. Intergenerational, community-based workshops will inform the final piece and include mirroring exercises, self-identification activities, character development tools, and creative movement.
