The Henry’s would have a clue about what is going on in town if
Councilmember Henry could find his way to Town Hall on an occasional Monday
night and listen to what’s going on. Maybe even put his mobile phone down
and participate in the discussion. Even when he’s there, he’s not.

But he did make it to the much-ballyhooed immigrant voters meeting earlier
in May, he lectured all in the room — he pontificates perfectly— but was
joined in the losing vote by only one other and left the meeting in a huff.
He did, however, stop outside the Town Hall long enough to be congratulated
by two elderly women who also were against new voters. For a minute slick
Henry reveled in the glory of his blindness, then stumbled off into the
darkness of the evening.

Inside, the rest of the Riverdale Park council moved down the agenda,
discussing business the way town leaders do.
