2nd Saturday Lecture October 13, 5 PM, Church of the Brethren, University
Park

Our next talk will be about the Medicare Program and is sponsored by
Helping Hands University Park.


Our speaker, Jane Horvath, is a health care financing policy consultant for
state and federal governments, industry, foundations, and other
organizations. She has held research positions at Johns Hopkins University
and MACPAC. Jane spent ten years at the drug company, Merck. She has worked
for the Medicaid Directors, the US Senate Finance Committee, and was the
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislation (Health) at the US Department of
Health and Human Services.


She will be explaining how Medicare works including parts A,B,C,D and the
Medigap Supplemental Program and, depending on your situation, what is best
for you.  Her presentation begins at 5:00 pm at the University Park Church
of the Brethren at 4413 Tuckerman St. University Park 20782.  There is
plenty of off street parking.
