* Thursday, August 22nd, 7-10 pm: Yarnia & the YarniansOpen to anyone who likes to knit, craft, draw, and relax. All ability levels, friendly company, and delicious mead. New Yarnians welcomed with open yarns :)

* Friday, August 23rd. 7-10 pm: Jazz Night! The best jazz in the DMV is back in town.  The Hyattsville Jazz Collective will bring their superlative talents to the Meadworks this Friday night!  This week's line-up features Grant Langford  on tenor saxophone, Francisco Quintero Simonpietri on guitar, Steve Arnold on bass, and Kevin Cerovich on drums. Grab a pizza from Pizzaria Paradiso and have the perfect date night with us.

* Saturday, August 24th, 7-10 pm: Janine Wilson and Arch Alcantara Live at Maryland Meadworks!Local singer/song-writer extraordinaire, Janine Wilson, will grace the Meadworks stage with accompaniment from the incomparable Arch Alcantara.  Janine has "a big voice with a stage presence to match it. Her award-winning songs are full of love, heartache, and mischief. Her command of vocal styles ranges from blues to Americana roots rock." Arch is an experienced guitarist, bassist, singer and a member of: Wes Tucker & The Skillets, Jelly Roll Mortals, Billy Coulter Band. and Cravin' Dogs.

* Sunday, August 25th, noon-7 pm: Sunday FundayThe perfect day for a craft beverage crawl down Route 1. Start or end at the Meadworks for the perfect delicious end to your weekend. Try our latest mead, "Morning Buzz" - a collaboration coffee mead crafted with El Fuego cold-brewed coffee from Vigilante Coffee, wildflower honey from Hyattsville and Lancaster, PA, and Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Beans.
