[RP TownTalk] Please Join Me: Never Again Means #ShutDownICE in DC

Dear Neighbors -

Please join my children and me this Tuesday to combat the racist and family
terrorizing institution that is ICE. Let us stand together as families to
protect the vulnerable members of our community. Let us be a presence,
witness, and reminder of what is actually happening at the border and to
our friends and neighbors.

To that end, I am coordinating a meetup of families, caregivers, and elders
to join the Jewish community of Never Again is Now in their actions to shut
down ICE. Details below. Feel free to share far and wide.

Tuesday Action, Never Again is Now

The current plan, subject to change as the specific action location is
announced tomorrow:

9:30-10am: Meetup at College Park Metro for those headed inbound from the
north. This is the Green Line. Meet in front of the fare machines. I'll
have a pink baseball hat.
10 am: Depart for Archives/Navy Mem'l/Penn Quarter Metro - which is located
between ICE and the Capitol and within an easy walk to either location or
the Mall.
10:30 -10:45: Families from all directions meet at the Navy Memorial Plaza
above the Archives Metro. Assemble needed teams for kids and any special
needs, snacks, signs, sunscreen, water, play, strollers, walkers,
wheelchairs, etc.

Discuss the possibility of collective action of civil disobedience,
contingencies for childcare, elder assistance, etc.

11am: March together to the action site.
