[RP TownTalk] Champion Tree Tour to Take Place in Riverdale Park & Surrounding Communities.

Friends and Neighbors,

Every year the Prince George's County Forestry Board hosts its annual Champion Tree Tour, an opportunity for residents and tree lovers to take a tour and observe some of the largest, oldest, and most distinct trees in the County.

This year the tour will be taking place in and around Riverdale Park.  At least two trees in our town will be viewed, including a 100+ year old Willow Oak, and others.  There will also be magnificent trees in Bladensburg, Cottage City, College Park and other local municipalities that will be part of the tour.

Attached is a brochure with all the event's details, including registration.   Please sign up as soon as possible if you would like to be part of this exciting event.
