* Thursday, Sept. 19th, 7-10 pm: Talk Like a Pirate Day! Arrrrgh, me hearties!  Yarnia & the Yarnians will be joined by singer, busker, and part-time pirate, Steve Haug performing his favorite sea shanties, as well as tales of piracy, villainy, and revenge. Talking like a pirate is a given, but you will also receive a discount on your mead if you *dress* like a pirate.  And, as always,Yarnians are welcomed with open yarns.  Free event.
* Friday, Sept. 20th, 7-10 pm:  Jazz Night! The Hyattsville Jazz Collective is back at the Meadworks this Friday night!  Featuring Luke Brandon on trumpet, Mike Cemprola on sax, Chris Ziemba on piano, Hamilton Price on bass, and  Kevin McDonald on drums.  Don't miss five of the best professional jazz musicians on the planet.  The perfect date night or outing with friends.  Free event.

* Friday, Sept. 20th, 6:30-9:30 pm:  Hyattsville Summer JamMaryland Meadworks will also be attending the last Summer Jam of the 2019 season!  Help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with music from Mariachi Aguila and delicious pupusas from Leyla’s Restaurant. In addition to our tasty mead, Franklin's Brewery and Sangfroid Distilling will be serving your favorite libations.
* Saturday, Sept, 21st, 12-6 pm: Hyattsville Arts and Ales FestivalFeaturing more than 100 artist exhibits, breweries, food trucks, live entertainment, and more.  We will have two meads on tap (Zanzibar and Super Hy).  The weather is looking perfect so spend the afternoon with us!

* Saturday, Sept, 21st, 6-11 pm: Sip Local at Cheverly Community MarketMeet local producers and sample mead, beer and spirits including BlueDyer Distilling Co.,Bluejacket, Denizens Brewing Co, Gray Wolf Craft Distilling, Maryland Meadworks, Pratt Standard, Sangfroid Distilling, Supreme Core Cider, Twin Valley Distillers and more. 

NOTE:  The Meadworks Tasting Room will be closed Saturday, Sept. 21st so that we may attend the aforementioned events.
